THE ORIGIN STORY — FOUR MOVEMENTS & AN ENCORE

I.

The Conservatory

ADAGIO · 2005–2020

Cello since the 7th grade. Two degrees at SUNY Fredonia — Performance and Psychology — then a Master's in Orchestral Conducting and an MBA in Arts Administration at UMass, teaching and serving as assistant conductor at Amherst College along the way.

I directed three orchestras, over two hundred musicians, and played cello on the National Symphony's Grammy-winning recording of Schoenberg's Verklärte Nacht. Music is where the whole playbook comes from: discipline, timing, reading a room, and getting a hundred people to hit the same beat at the same moment.

II.

The Bracket Years

PRESTO · 2013–2021

Before I ran tournaments, I won them. League of Legends first — Long Island champion, NYC top five, years coaching teams. Then whatever ladder was in season: Teamfight Tactics, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links, Pokémon VGC, Pokémon UNITE.

Competing at that level teaches you how players think, what makes a format fair, and what makes a bracket worth caring about — the exact muscles a live tournament studio runs on. Full box scores below.

III.

The Web3 Years

ACCELERANDO · 2021–2025

Curiosity that got out of hand, then a CMO track: I co-founded Asteria Labs and scaled it to $3M ARR and $10M+ in client revenue, running six-figure campaigns for Mask Network and a roster of web3 launches.

Along the way — Chief Brand Officer for CETS, web3 advisor for MaskVerse (FOX's Masked Singer), House General at RomeDAO, tokenomics and game theory for DiamondDAO, WhaleState, NuCyber, Ethalien, and Saku Monsters. The lesson from all of it: attention is earned live.

IV.

Otherside

FORTISSIMO · 2025–NOW

In August 2025 a few friends and I started running community game nights in the Swamp on Otherside. No budget, no mandate — just weekly chaos people kept showing up for. Seven weeks later ApeCo signed Other Games as official event partners.

Since then: Otherside IRL at the HyperX Arena for ApeFest Las Vegas with OpenSea presenting. Launch week for the Koda Nexus. Activations for Amazon Gaming, MetaMask, the BAYC 5-Year, Daniel Arsham, Moonbirds, Meebits — 50+ projects modeled, rigged, and deployed into Otherside by our own hands. Plus growth at Ape Church: 126M+ $APE lifetime volume across 1.46M games.

The encore performs without me. A fully autonomous AI pipeline turns our live events into content while I sleep — detection finds the moment, my agent trims to the hook, reframes to vertical, burns captions, writes per-platform copy, and posts on a schedule timed to US prime windows.
